Deeply moving and healing, one of the most beautiful installations I've ever seen. Thank you I am very inspired!
York St Mary's
The Memory of Place, an installation by Keiko Mukaide, was continued for a second year and proved very popular. The work was added to by a Wish Tree on to which visitors tied their written messages on to its branches. The moving water with the floating glass bowls with lit candles proved to be a compelling mix and we had many repeat visitors to the art work. We are very grateful to Arts Council Yorkshire for supporting York St Mary's as it provides an opportunity for an artist to respond to a beautiful 15th Century church creating a new site specific work.
